Dixon Transition Society is filled with gratitude after an incredible Vancouver Half Marathon weekend!

On June 22nd, 2025, we proudly joined thousands of runners in the Vancouver Half Marathon. Our team laced up not just for the challenge, but to stand in solidarity with women and their children escaping violence. Every step taken was a stride toward a future free from violence—and our runners made each one count.

From the early morning energy to the final cheers at the finish line, the atmosphere was electric. Our participants ran with purpose, raising awareness and funds to support Dixon’s vital programs. The event was a beautiful reminder of how movement can inspire change and bring communities together.

Special Thanks to Our Champions

A huge thank you to all our amazing runners who laced up in support of Dixon and the women and children we serve. Your steps make a difference.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt shoutout to Anita Webster, who went above and beyond! Your dedication inspires us all and reminds us of the power of individual action in creating collective impact.

“Together, we are moving toward a future free from violence.”

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this event—whether by running, donating, or cheering from the sidelines. Your involvement helps us continue our mission of safety, empowerment, and healing.
