Dixon Transition Society

Serving the community since 1973, Dixon Transition Society helps to reduce the impact of domestic violence by providing a safe haven for women and children.

Transitional housing programs, counselling and outreach services form a continuum of care to help women and children live a life free from violence.

A safe, confidential place for women and their children

Emergency Housing

Women receive unconditional support and advocacy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a home environment.

Second Stage Housing

Wenda’s Place Second Stage Housing provides individual housing units in a safe, supportive environment where women, children, and pets may stay up to two years.

Child Support Programs

We highly value children at Dixon and design programs and services to allow them to just be kids during a stressful time in their young lives.

Project Impact 2018
