Dixon Transition Society’s comprehensive support services provide women and children with safety and security, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives, free from violence.

Who We Are - Dixon Transition Society

Dixon Transition House

Our Third Stage housing programs provides safe and affordable transitional housing for women, children, and pets who are ready to live more independently after leaving a transition house or second stage housing.

Sustaining Women’s Success

At Dixon, we care deeply about seeing women live thriving lives free from violence, long past their time at our facilities has come to an end.

Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling

The Stopping the Violence (STV) program provides free professional individual counselling for women, age 19 and over, who live in Burnaby who have experienced violence in their relationships, sexual assault, or childhood abuse.

Family Counselling

Dixon’s family counselling program provides free, professional counselling to adults as well as adolescents in conjunction with their parents or primary caregivers.

Children At Dixon

Children at Dixon

We highly value children at Dixon and design programs and services to allow them to just be kids during a stressful time in their young lives.

We would like to acknowledge the support of the following groups whose support makes our programs a possibility.
