To our Dixon supporters,
It is an understatement to call these changing times. At Dixon Transition Society we are hyper alert to the enormous adjustments made necessary by the COVID-19 pandemic. As stewards of a housing organization for women and children fleeing violence we are vigilantly following the guidelines of the authorities.
Huge though this is, it is not the only change facing Dixon.
Pany Aghili, our long-time Executive Director, has decided to move on at the end of April this year. We are enormously grateful to Pany for the vision, passion and hard work she has brought to Dixon since she started with us nine-and-a-half years ago.
Pany and the Board have developed a plan for a smooth transition and will stay in regular communication during this time of change.
Pany leaves Dixon a well-connected, progressive organization with an engaged workforce. We wish her all the best in her next venture and will certainly miss her.
The Dixon Board has retained a recruitment agency to conduct our search for a new Executive Director. Check our website soon for the job posting.
Unsettling times like these mean a spike in demand for the crucial services we offer. We appreciate your involvement more than ever. Thank you for your interest in Dixon Transition Society and for your support.
Stay well and stay in touch!
Anita Webster
Board Chair
